Event Information
The Morden Corn and Apple Festival originated as a community celebration for Canada’s Centennial in 1967 and has grown into one of the largest street festivals in Manitoba, attracting over 50,000 people to enjoy three days of activity-packed fun.
In 2008 we celebrate our 42nd Annual Corn & Apple Festival. We invite you to enjoy FREE Admission; FREE Hot Buttered Corn-on-the-Cob; FREE Ice Cold Apple Cider; FREE Bus Tours; FREE Shuttle Bus Service; and FREE Live Stage Entertainment on both the Main and Cottonwood Stages. Past top name performers include Colin James (2007), Lou Gramm and Prairie Oyster (2006), Randy Bachman (2005).
What we believe to be the largest Parade in Manitoba winds along Morden streets on Saturday morning and Wonder Shows Midway brings out the kid in us all. Other activities include the Queen Pageant, Old Tyme Dancing, a Vintage Car/Harley Davidson Show and Shine, Mud Racing and much more.
There are plenty of crafts, street vendors and food for all to sample and buy. Kids will have a great time enjoying the activities and petting zoo designed especially for them. It’s family fun at its very best!
